In case of physical pain it is always good to consult your doctor, but if you think you want to exclude the classic ibuprofen, you can opt for less harmful remedies; this is the case with natural anti-inflammatories.


Rosemary is a very common aromatic and medicinal plant in the Mediterranean diet. Many do not know that among its beneficial properties, rosemary is a powerful natural sedative. Thanks to the high content of ursolic acid, rosemary fights infections that develop around the cartilages or joints of the hands and knees, without causing any side effects.

What we need

  • 200 grams of rosemary
  • 400 ml of water

How to prepare the infusion

  1. Pour the water into a saucepan, when the water is boiling, add the sprigs of rosemary
  2. Leave to infuse for about 20 minutes: the time needed to release their properties
  3. After 20 minutes, let it rest for a few minutes before drinking the infusion

Recommended treatment twice a day; morning and evening

The horsetail

In addition to being a powerful natural anti-inflammatory, horsetail contains numerous minerals and vitamins. Prepare an infusion to drink twice a day.

  • 20 grams of turmeric
  • 750 ml of water
  • 50 grams of organic honey

How to proceed

  1. Pour the water into a saucepan, and when the water starts to boil, add the tablespoon of turmeric. The water will immediately take on a yellowish color
  2. Let it boil for about ten minutes then let it rest
  3. At this point, filter the water and add the three tablespoons of honey.

You can drink water regularly throughout the day


Ginger is a widely used spice in natural medicine for its strong anti-inflammatory action; it has incredible beneficial properties, which is why it should never be missing in the pantry

Whenever you experience pain in your joints or of any kind, do not hesitate to prepare the following ginger-based remedy:

What we need

  • 200 grams of grated ginger root
  • 400 ml of water
  • 2 tablespoons of honey

How to proceed

  1. The procedure is the same as the remedies described above, when the water boils, add the ginger then leave to infuse for 20 minutes
  2. After this time, let it rest for another 10 minutes then filter the water
  3. At this point, add the two tablespoons of honey.

In this recipe we have added honey, another fundamental ingredient to treat these pains. Thanks to its therapeutic properties, it fights any type of joint pain very effectively. Remember to drink two cups of ginger tea a day; you will have excellent results.
